Best SP Memory

  • Whether it's a concert, meeting them, etc? What is your best SP memory?

Mine is definitely the second time I saw them in concert. Got there a little later than we wanted, but we ended up pretty much in the second row right at center stage.. but then after the first two bands played the people in front of us just LEFT so we ended up right in the front.

It was just completely amazing. Oh and my sister and I were nerds and we bought this little wooden paddle shaped like a hairbrush except without the bristles. And on it it said "Bald Man's Hairbrush" (and we wrote To: Jeff on it) and when Pierre asked the audience if anyone wanted a piece of gum I held up the brush and Pierre took it, read it, laughed and then gave it to Jeff who then acted as if he was brushing his "hair".

Completely random, but it was still fun. And I also took the most amazing pictures that night, too.

Mine was the second time I saw them in concert (back in February), cause I got to meet them! I basically made an ass out of myself, but it's all good, I was happy for days after.

The only thing that sucked was Jeff refused to take pictures with everyone...

i was at the myspace secret show and after we could get in Patrick looked at me and said hi although i was between all those people!!!!
and after my last concert i met Sebastien. Lots of fans waited for them to come out, but when the security people went home, the most people did the same...
good for the rest of the fans who stayed... he was so cute and asked a tall guy to watch over it... :D he gave me an autograph and my friend and me could take a photo with him...

Mine was in February when I got to stare at Pierre's butt on TRL....HAHA just kidding :P
My best memory was the New Year's Eve concert back in December, they were hysterical the whole entire time! David and Pierre were having a "debate" about what word was worse: balls or ass? My favorite quote that night was from David: "He did have the balls to say ass"

Haha best night ever! :D

wow i have alot of them but 2 stick out the most. there was one show here that was held in a ampitheater at a amusement park. during the set chuck got off stage and ran around the crowd. he didnt make it very far. at the same show david and pierre were talking about how they had walked around the amusement park that day adn werre bummed the water park was closed. david said and i quote" we could have used lube to slide down the slides" parents were starting to cover their kids ears.

at another show in 04 my best friend and i got the chance to meet david. she asked him what size pants he wears (she was shocked at how small he is). i laughed my ass off at her cause it was completely random.

i have amazing pictures from all the shows ive been too. i will post a link to my photobucket later on.

My best memory had to be all of February 25th 2008. From the concert to meeting the guys, it was AMAZING. But by far the best moment was after the show when I got to speak to Pierre. My mom is going through cancer so the first time I heard Save You, I cried like a baby because I could seriously relate to it and it was exactly what I was feeling but couldn't seem to relate to anyone. The timing for the album to come out was perfect because the album came out and then the next day she started treatment. So I was able to tell Pierre about it (which was my main goal of the night..) and it was such a sweet moment. He look on his face completely changed and I could tell (and so could everyone else because a couple people came up to me) that he was completely moved by my story and out of nowhere, he just grabbed me into a really tight hug and held onto me for a couple moments. It was seriously amazing.

That's really sweet. I hope your mom gets better.

My best memory is of the same night, I didn't meet SP but it was my first concert ever. It was so amazing. I almost started to cry when they preformed Welcome To My Life, because that song helped me get through so much. Hearing the whole crowd sing along was just magical.

That's a toughie. I guess it would have to be almost three years ago, back in May of '05 when they squeezed in a radio show here when they were doing their tour with Good Charlotte. Mind you, this was an 18+ radio show, I was 16 at the time and had no shot at winning tickets to this thing.

Chuck being the awesome guy that he is, put my friend and I on the guestlist so we could see their show which still to this day was one of my favorite performances of theirs. Front row, long set and everything, couldn't ask for anything better. Afterwards, he even asked if we enjoyed the show (a couple times lol) We met up with Pierre in the back of the club where he was signing things and talked with Chuck for awhile. Good times.

Mine would have to be when I went to the Juno awards in Halifax and I wasn't expecting the guys to show up. My friend and I were in Halifax for the weekend and never saw them anywhere until we were at the red carpet and David and Jeff show up. It was the best, although they didn't come too close to us I did get a few pics of them. Plus they won the fan choice award.

A good memory was my first SP show on December 15th... but the BEST memory was February 27th when I got to meet them because I stood outside TRL on the 12th and the record company got me a meet and greet. I was sooooo nervous, my mom said she could feel my bones shaking. But I got to talk to them for like 5 or 10 mins and they all like staed at the poster I made. But the best part was that Pierre gave me this giant hug and I like started crying. But after I left the room I hatd to sit on the stairs and cry my eyes out cause I was so happy.
Then I got to chill with Pat at the merch stand and have some popcorn as he looked my poster.
I'll NEVER EVER forget that day.
