so we just purchased two seated tx in section 107 , I think they are good seats, now if I were to sell my GA tix would I still be able to go to the sound chk party and met n greet, like do I need to show the GA ticket as part of entry for the perks?

sure i understand that, i love being on the floor and getting to see the guys up close, but i'm buying tickets for a couple other people and they don't really enjoy GA as much as i do, hehe, so i figured i've seen them many times before i'll compromise and grab some seats this time........as for the price it still doesnt make sense. i've seen SP twice in this specific venue before. first time in this venue was $25 total, second time (which was for the last tour) was $28 total. $42 is a bit of a jump but not as bad as paying $65.....i even calculated what taxes would be and this venues service fee is usually $6-$8 which comes up to about $55....so it just is kind of weird to me that the fan club would be selling GA tickets at a higher price then the venue?

....oh and does anyone know how the groupon tickets are working (as im still waiting to get tickets)? ive signed up with groupon a little while ago and they usually email you deals but i havent had anything sent to me about it yet today so i went to the website and there was nothing....any clues?

chum fm has presale seated tix on right now password JETLAG

Ticketmaster fees have shot up substantially recently. Fees typically run 10-15 dollars now. It's becoming more of an expensive medium now. I went to see Good Charlotte recently. Face value of the ticket was 25 dollars, but with the ticketmaster fees, I paid more than 40. But when it comes down to it, SPC has no control over the price of the tickets and I am going to say this again is either the same or cheaper. Just for reference, I checked this:

This is what I paid, via SPC for my two NYC tickets:

This is what ticketmaster is asking for, without shipping:

So, SPC factors in the fees that they have to. Some venues have building fees and such. But I just dug up my tickets from the last Canadian tour in 08 and I paid about 46 bucks for the ticket. So my last post is going to stand, there are more bigger names on this tour. ATL usually costs about 30-40 on their own these days, at least here in the states and I have no idea what Marianas Trench commands in ticket value.

What show are on this tour are you going to? I brought tickets for this tour and I will tell you what it came out to as and I will check what the general sale is because it may be listed as cheaper but the fees are really out there now a days.

oh, ya, dont get me wrong i have no qualms with SPC i was just curious if this was typicaly how the fan club stuff goes, you know? for price and type of ticket and such.....like your screen cap for the 2 tickets on ticketmaster is (apparently) how much for my 1 ticket (and im going to the Ottawa show)....maybe there's more of a demand for them here?? i don't know, just seems awful high....and i don't mean to sound argumentative (if i'm coming off this way, sorry :S ) im just slightly on the poor side :P hehe, as well as being a big SP fan.....*sigh* i'm such a penny pincher sometimes >.< lol

and thanks rubidoo but i'm going to the Ottawa show
as for my other question anyone know how the Groupon tickets were working, ive checked their site as well as my email and havent seen anything yet? guess i'll be down to the wire tomorrow when the tickets go on sale to the public...

The US tour was just typically cheaper. I paid 135 dollars for my two tickets for the Canadian tour. But the major difference between the US tour and the Canadian tour is two things: One, the venues here in the states are much smaller. The NYC venue only has a cap of 2,100 people, amphitheaters are usually more expensive and like I said, the more costly bands on the Canadian tour.

A list will be posted closer to date of names who brought the first 100 tickets for M&G/EE along with it, 50 names will be posted just for EE.

MD Soundcheck/Early Entry

They opened the MD date presales on the same day the 48 hour Soundcheck/Early Entry thing ended so does this mean that the MD show will not have this?
Or will the MD show have another 48 hours on its own to allow fans to get Soundcheck and Early Entry during its presales? :?:

I'm so confused with this....please help!

The Maryland pre-sale did happen on SPC before they opened the tickets to the public so there was a short period of time, not the full 48 hours, where the Maryland tickets did come with Sound Check/Early Entry but that time has passed.

Only there is no front row? The floor area is a pit so you may end up there, with no seats.

I was wondering....

during the first SPCrew pre-sale (for the soundcheck/ee), I bought 2 tickets for my best friend and I, and she is also a member of SPCrew.
So when the list of names is made for my date, will I qualify for 2 spots or what?

It was 48 hours, though I think it may have run a little later. I think if you brought your tickets before you needed to enter the password to buy tickets, you qualified.
